@revisionfx One thing you can do is set Twixtor to NO MV, interpolation to nearest and speed up by 24/16 (150%) in the nested sequence (and copy the clip 2 times)
then in main comp, apply twixtor again with same setup and do the opposite (speed 66.66%) this will drop some frames and duplicate others and keep the final timing the same.

@aksekili We are much faster than Compressor, our customers tell us we give better results, and you can do it in the context of an edit within FCP, which you cannot do with compressor.

@arikusu05 Just follow this tutorial using 24 as your original fps and 16 as your new fps. Regarding the Twixtor tutorials, there are several here and if you go to the Help tab for Twixtor on our website, you will see some additional information.

@RealtyStudioHD The codec used by the 7D (H.264) does not work well in FCP with time-manipulating plugins such as Twixtor. Try converting to one of the ProRes codecs and then using Twixtor. If you continue to have problems send us email at techsuport (at) revisionfx (dot) com and we’ll try to help you further.

It would be so nice if you could do a detailed tutorial on how to set up “Easy Set-Up” for Canon 7D, as well as how to import using the new Plug-In. I’m new to the 7D (used XH-A1s for all my past projects) and must have something wrong, as everytime I go to edit one of my real estate videos now, it always crashes on me about 30% through when I try to render my finished video. Been up for nearly 3 days straight trying to find a solution, as I am already passed my deadline for a project I’m wor
